Their Mechanical Breakdown Insurance, has been designed to provide:
- comprehensive parts and labour cover for each vehicle
- repair and recovery advice from dedicated and knowledgeable staff
- personal service from buying the policy to making a claim and receiving payment
- peace of mind through insurance protection
Ensuring that our customers have continued motoring protection and are fully satisfied with their vehicle during their period of ownership.
Motorcare Warranties Ltd Car warranties provide two levels of cover against Mechanical Breakdown.
GILT EDGED WARRANTY
The Gilt Edged Warranty reimburses all mechanical and electrical components of the vehicle that were manufacturers original fitments except those listed below.
Components NOT Covered
- All bodywork and trim, seat belts, glass, sunroof panels, fuel tank, wheels and tyres, hinges, brake facings, seized callipers
- The renewal of any clutch component due to incorrect adjustment, misuse or general wear and tear
- The clearing of fuel lines, filters, carburettors and pumps
- Air bags
- HT leads, spark plugs, filters, wiper blades, lights and bulbs, belts, shock absorbers, wiring looms, glow plugs
- Exhaust manifold, exhaust system, brackets, mountings and hoses, water ingress, cables
- Worn or leaking seals and cylinders
- Battery
- LPG Conversions
- Block liners are specifically excluded for Land Rover and Range Rover

Provided and extra premium is paid cover is provided on the vehicle's Catalytic Converter.
GOLD COVER
The Gold Warranty reimburses the cost of repair or replacement of the main components listed below - full parts coverage is available on request. Items not listed are excluded .

Provided and extra premium is paid cover is provided on the vehicle's Turbo unit - being part of the car's original factory specification.
It should be noted that the warranty does not cover failure due to wear and tear. External oil leaks are excluded.
